Deep Freeze
After an unusually mild start to Winter, Ottawa has gone back into its typical deep freeze mode. The city is living up to its reputation for being ridiculously cold. The plus side to this is that the Rideau Canal, the world's longest skating rink is open and thousands have already flocked there to enjoy the ice and the Beaver Tails. It is also Winterlude time - Ottawa's winter festival. So it may be cold, but our hearts are warm, especially ESL hearts. Happy Valentine's Day!
