The first day of Spring - according to the calendar anyway. True to form it snowed and got cold and wet.
Tamako arrived just a few days ago from Osaka, Japan. On the day she landed the temperature fell to -14ºC.
I asked her what she thought of Canada.
"Cold!" she said with a giggle.
Spring really won't start until well into April. We'll have to wait yet to see those hardy crocuses start appearing on Parliament Hill.
